When Life Gives You Lemons..

I have been neglecting you I know, but honestly there hasn't been much to blog about. Well maybe I'm over exaggerating the situation, there has been plenty to discuss. I just haven't been in the mood to write. Im not sure why I go through these awful, awkward, writers block moments a lot. But besides my new business venture Chatter Box and working with Pusha Chix, life has been pretty pleasurable.

I took some time off to visit close friends and family in both DC and North Carolina for about two weeks. I enjoy moments like that, when I can travel away from the city to breath, to think and to relax clearly; it makes me a appreciate my life journey more.

I have a great deal of time on my hands this summer. Im looking forward to broadening my business, building new clientele, and expanding my portfolio. So if any one is interested in linking up, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Last Sunday, I was invited to Duckie's exclusive Spring 2014 Men's Presentation. I was so anxious because I'd never experienced a fashion presentation before. Guest were encouraged to stand up and feel garments for texture and quality. We were also asked to take photos as the male models graced the walkway. This event was a new experience and I was introduced to a more sophisticated-urban-style of men's fashion, take a look....

If I Was Your Best Friend

I've never had the type of personality to use others. I never thought it was necessary to use someone to get something that I wanted. I've always had a stickler, go getter personality. Even as a child, I remember knowing what I wanted and going after it, but it was always genuine and kindhearted. I could never understand how people would use each other by pretending to care. If I dislike someone, it's probably because I dislike their ways. I have the ability to read personalities and once I see someone's true colors my mind is then set.

I simply love working as a team in any form of group setting. I can appreciate the connections, the team effort, and the ability to share ideas. But, I am not capable of stealing someone else's idea and running with it as if it was my own. I do believe ideas are created from other ideas, that is why I enjoy working in group settings. When working in these specific settings the relationships should be built of trust. All relationships should be built of trust, not just personal relationship but, friendships and "business-ships" as well.

Do you think it's possible to make it in this "dog eat dog world" without using others for your personal success? How do you continue to build your net worth without loosing your integrity?
