Purrrr Purrrfect

Now that winter is nearing ladies we can finally layer and button up. But who needs to button up when your covered in fur? FUR, yes fur jackets, hats, blazers, yes they have fur blazers, scarfs and gloves.

The Queen of Fur Kesha some may know her by her hit song Tik Tok, with her grungy rock hard style she makes it look so easy.
Check her silver studded boots.
This Girl Is So Cool, she can even go Glam if she wants to..

Now you know if anyone was to do this look KELIS would Bang it! I kinda like the Shaggy FUR

Leather pants, school girl sweater with fur sleeves! I'm definitely trying this look including the up-do hairstyle, only if I could get my darn hair to curl.

Is Cassie Back??
Theres That Fur Blazer Above...

And of course Ri Ri wears FUR
Doesn't she look toasty?

NEW YORK CITY

I had the opportunity to visit NYC this past weekend for the first time. I was amazed at the fast past city life, the filthy metro stations, and fascinating thrift shops. I was greeted by the welcoming hugs and and screaming voices of laughter from two of the greatest people in the world, AGB finest Imani and Ayanna. They both attend school in NYC. I got to check out ST. Johns campus in Manhattan and spent the rest of the day on the yard at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. New York is a beautiful city filled with groups of diversity and creativity.

Here are a few clippings of Imani's (an inspiring art teacher) artwork...

I wasn't traveling alone. Chelsea was there every step of the way, tagging her camera along with us. Check out some of her cool photos....

The END

We ended our day with a unique batch of cookie dough brownies, they were absolutely delicious with each bite in the cold NYC night...

Girl Power

Ladies! I know you all remember the infamous British all girl pop group, Spice Girls. Yes, I said it. They were the first female group to be all about girl power. As young girls if we didn't have anyone to look up to we could look up to these girls. They were Fun, Loud, Corny (in a good way) and how could I forget STYLISH.
Remember when they broke up? Boy weren't we devastated!

Throw Back

Not to mention they wore the BEST shoes
The Spice Shoe
These remind me of like a real Harajuku Girl....

21st Century GIRL POWER
These sister socialites are the talk of the town would I be wrong if I called them the Black Paris and Nicky...

Umm Kay so this weekend I went down to Greensboro North Carolina and had a blast at A&T.  I spotted a few of the coolest things...

Bright colors are just my thing, paring solid with patterns like black and white may seem simple but watch as you stand out amongst the crowd. All eyes will be on you, Fashoinista.

Dorothy Dandridge

WOW DOROTHY your freaking GORGEOUS, FLAWLESS, and BEAUTIFUL! What other African American female actress best fit to play the role of the late great Dandridge than HALLE BERRY herself? The two share a lot of the same features, their both gorgeous. I Love to see powerful beautiful BLACK WOMEN.

Flipping through the movie guide I stumbled upon this Life Time movie  last night, "Introducing Dorthy Dandridge." After watching her I fell in love.

-Dorothy Dandridge

-Halle Berry (See the resemblance?)

Dandridge, compared to the late Marilyn Monroe was often  referred to as the Black Monroe..

shine

Okay so making the transition from Washington DC to Durham North Carolina was tough, I must admit. Everyone style was so different. But throughout the year I grew to understand the uniqueness. URBAN clothing lines are whats trending to MOST but NOT TO ALL here at North Carolina Central University. Below are a few photos of some women on the yard that are always on the newest and cutest...

Check out these Sparks...dress them Up or Down either way works perfect. She pared hers with jeans and still banged it!

Bright Bold Colors always scream at me. I spotted her once she walked in. More sparkles, that silver belt is what set the dress off!

Pinky..

Waking up to such lovely things like this brings me joy! And it just so happens to be my favorite color, how did you know?

I call this look the- Black Vintage Gossip Girl

I wish you could see the safety pins up across the shoulder...

Today’s outfit consisted of Juicy Couture Necklace
Black Express Blazer/Jacket
Pink Pastel Ruffle Tom from Wet Seal
